It has been three straight days that the temperature is way above 40 degrees centigrade. What’s worse is that it is also humid which contributes to the already harsh environment and it is hard to breathe when you are outside. You will be soaked with sweat even you are not doing anything at all. So it has also been three days that our son was only staying inside the house and that’s good for him at least in the medical side because of his eczema.
And when it comes to his eczema, hubby has made blog posts about it detailing his ordeal since he was several months old. In fact, we already tried almost everything just to keep his skin moisturized including topical steroids yet with only temporary relief. It was only when we consulted a pediatrician in Cebu, who at the same time an allergologist, that his eczema ease up dramatically with the use of a moisturizer that is not widely distributed. And much to it that a 299ml bottle carries a price tag of more than 1250 pesos (that is almost $30) and our son is consuming at least two bottles a month. It is quite heavy to our budget but at least our son feels comfortable when he sleeps at night which matters most to us.
